Care of Your Jewelry
 
Precious gemstones, pearls, gold brushed buttons etc should be treated as treasures.
 
To clean your jewelry wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
Jewelry does not like getting wet or contact with chemicals (cosmetics, hairsprays, perfume, household cleaners, salty air, sulfur as found in rubber gloves and some paper, etc).
 
We suggest putting your jewelry on last.
 
Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended.
 
If you wear your jewelry frequently we suggest restringing every year or two. We are happy to do this for you at a charge of $1.50 an inch plus shipping.
 
Storage of your jewelry is also important. Each item should be stored separately to prevent abrasion.
